s50b32 engine swap

hi guys,is there anything extra i need to do on e30 wiring loom as it was an automatic before i put s50b32 engine and box.ive wired it up following wiring charts off e30 zone but it wont crank off the key.if i short out the starter it will start and then cut out.any help guys much appreciated.cheers.craig.

there is a starter inhibitor circuit on auto`s to detect park or neutral before it will crank the engine. Its a small loom which goes from a plug by the shifter and it can all be removed. You will need to trace it back to the main loom and reconnect the plugs. it will make sense when you see it, think its the yellow and blacks that are split.
Not sure if this will solve the cutting out as i was under the impression it was just the starter that was affected.

Starting and almost instantly cutting out is a classic sign of EWS problems.
