What pump do you have?
S50 runs a 5 bar base pressure.

Not the B30 though, prsssure regulator is in the bulkhead end of the fuel rail, you will need the plenum off to get to it effectively

^^ Yup, the S50B30 runs at 3 bar - it will quite happily run on the standard E30 pump. The B32 needs 5 bar.

From memory the pressure reg isnt very easy to get at, it was a right pain to get the pipes back on as well - if you are going to replace it, do all the fuel lines etc while you are there, they can get brittle.

thanks for the replies. the car seems to run good when its running just gotta leave the pump going for a good while before it will start up. i was driving it up a steep ramp the other day and it nearly stoped on me. started reving up on its own like it would do if running out of fuel. seems like the pump was not keen to pump fuel going up hill:( any ideas ???? pump not pumping right??
