That is for my lhd car yes. You can also heat and bend the manifold, I know some people do that.

A bonus I got when I welded the manifold like I did is that I can take them out while the engine is in the car.

Depends on what motor mounts you are running and how the engine is placed.

I have a lot of tools, but it was impossible to get any socket or spanner onto the nut.

Hi everyone,

I am currently doing a s50b32 swap into a 88 e30 m3 and I just want to know if the wiring diagram above is correct. Also what wires connect to the power distribution block. Thanks in advance.

I am using the diagram from the forums and what i saw from Rui's work but my old car had a MZ3 harness. I just want to make sure that everything is in the right place.

Hello,

I realise I might be late to the party, but I was wondering if you can help with something.
I'm doing a conversion E30 325i convertible 1990 (shell) and S50B32 1996 E36 M3 engine.
I've purchased a loom connector and realised that the guy had done it wrong.
I had a look on your schematic and I see that pin number 8 on E30 is missing, but I have it on my one and some other diagrams are telling me to go to pin 24 (E36) which in your case is blocked by pin 16, but I don't have pin 16 in my E30 connector.

I also have 2 more pins which are not occupied by your legend: 18 and 20 in the E30 connector.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers!

Just to comment on the exhaust manifold issue. I managed to source a second manifold and used one of the pipes to replace No6 which was hitting the bulkhead and steering. Now all the pipes tilt towards the front. Obviously some welding needed. I used a sleeve on the pipes so as to be able to follow the same path as the other pips to the collector. With the manifold off I mounted/bolted it to a piece of metal before cutting off No6. Still got that piece 16 years later. This ensured that the new No 6 was perfectly lined up after welding. If this is of help, great, if not then ignore
