fuel pump problems

hi there i have been putting a s50b30 into my 325 sport, i have recently gotten the engine up and running but have to wire the fuel pump up to a battery for the pump to work. any sugestions what could be wrong with it, there is no power coming to the pump when ignition is on. also where is the pump relay? thanks

The fuel pump relay is going to be where all the other relays are in your engine loom.

You´ll need to do basic automotive electronic fault finding to figure out the problem.
