S50b32 swap from M52...

Hi there,

Looking at a bare S50B32, with loom and ECU. I currently have a M52B28 and have a few questions....

Are the fitments between blocks the same? ie would I be able to use the ancillaries from my M52 to build the S50 back up?

Is there any advantage using an M50 inlet on a S50? or is that a US thing?

If I were to have the EWS deleted on the ECU, would my M52 loom that has already built for the 30 work?

You are talking about two totally different engines here. The only things that will work together are the engine mounts, and the gearbox, assuming you have a 5 speed from a 328i.

S50 should have individual throttle bodies. The looms are different.
