I just wanted to pick some brains and ask if anyone knows of any 16 inch alloys that clear the e36 m3 front brake callipers ?
I know Bmw e38 16 8js do but they are tough to find, I've come across some 16s but they are 7js from the e38 would these fit too ?
What other 16s can work ?

Thanks in advance.

Are you converting to 5 stud just so you can fit the E36 brakes?

Yes and to widen wheel choice in future.

The only thing I find with 5 stud wheels is there are not many at all that suit or fit the E30 properly. Pretty much everything after E34 is the wrong offset it seems

You are right and beginning to think I'm going the wrong way, I've already bought the complete set up for the 5 lug.
I'm leaning on the e38 16s to stay as close as possible to the original set up. 17s won't do.
