I have made use of all the information on this site for a while now and it was a great help for my last engine swap (M30B35 into a touring last winter) but i thought i would introduce myself and start a thread on my lastest project.
I sold the M30 engined touring not long after i finished it, thinking i might like a more modern car...I didnt, so bought another touring and decided to go a step further with the next engine. The car in question was bought from these very pages a couple of months back, a very honest seller and the car was an excellent price and has very little rust, just looks a little tired.
I have done most of the parts sourcing engine conversion wise. I have bought a complete and by the looks of it very well cared for E36 evo 3.2 engine. I already had a low mileage ZF 5 speed gearbox so thats what i will use with it, mainly because i have it already but partly because i understand the shift feel is better than the 6 speed box and thats very important to me.
Other bits i have accumulated are as follows:
Clio brake servo
E28 M5 engine mounts
E38 sump and dipstick
E34 oil pump and pickup
ARP rod bolts
A spare set of exhaust manifolds to modify
E36 328 propshaft
4 plate 3.15 lsd
Am i missing anything from the above list?
