Hi guys

Fitted my s50b30 with the 5 speed box and I'm using a z3m diff, just trying to work out if there's a prop from another model of BMW that will bolt straight in to save me having to have one made ?

I've been told an e36 328 one bolts straight in without having to change the flange on the diff ?

Thanks in advance

E30 M3 prop bolts straight in - you've used the same gearbox and diff as I did.

I think you can use an E36 328i prop with an E30 centre bearing fitted, but I've never used the 328i prop so I'm not 100%.

I've also been told a 325td prop is identical to an e30 m3 one ?

I have previously used the 328i manual prop with the apropriate E30 center bearing, works a treat and probrably cheaper and more readily available than the E30 M3 prop.

Cheers ajay
Been offered several 328 props but someone off here told me they had a e30 m3 one the proceeded to muck me around so I won't be dealing with them again
