idle control valve hose

I have a s50b32 from a z3m. I'm wanting to know where the hose goes from the idle control valve. On the realoem website it shows the hose coming towards the front as shown in the image below (6) but on my lump it seems it should be a U shape pipe going towards the inlet. Where should this pipe be going?
