I cant really see on that pic, but you have not got any where near that amount of clearance between the rad and air box......

Imo NO engine looks better in a e30 bay than the s50!

Looks great! I'm kinda wondering about the details like brake setup etc. I'd love to see more detailed pics.

Hmmm, certainly does seem that way doesn't it?

If we have to go with a cone then so be it, the amount of squish on the inlet boot tween MAF and plenum probably isn't going to be too good...

Hopefully the spare plenum will be finished for tuesday,

Thanks for throwing up the pictures Penton!

Ideally you need something like this to move the box back far enough

As a matter of interest I've since got rid of the standard airbox and fitted the Samota CAI system. That and a change in exaust system added 13 bhp.

And we have lift-off!

One fully functional S50B30 with:
BTB/Zero exhaust,
e46 '067' quickrack,
ITG filter,
Danthe loom,
Danthe steering linkage,

Excellent job done by BBB in all respects, professional and very competant.

Pictures to follow

Still some tidying up to do but fu*k me does this thing shift,

The '46 rack is awesome now the tracking has been set, 1.5mm toe in which i seem to remember being standard, camber correction topmounts i think 2 degrees negative and offset wishbone bushes, handling is far better than i thought it'd be...

The air filter still looks a bit last minute winkeye There can not be too many other s50'd moordoors out there, and that makes it very  imo.
