M50 to S50

Hello all,

I have a quick question - if I was to buy a car which already had an M50 conversion, how easy would it be to subsequently swap the M50 for an S50 ? Is it made slightly easier or would it not really make any difference what was already under the bonnet.

I suspect the only parts that are going to be of any use are the engine mount arms and the sump. Possibly the gearbox, prop & diff depending which one's was used.

Probably just as easy to start from scratch.
