Hi all, purchased an e30 318i and firstly I can't really afford to do a down right engine conversion.

Just want to no a few things I can bolt on to make it a little bit more faster.

Car at the mo is very slow highly doubt it's normal but it had been sitting for 3 years not driven.

Thanks

Best thing as always will be a good service. If the car has been sat for 3 years then the oil and filters should definitley be changed before driving. What year is it, does it have the m10 or m40 engine?

Hi,

You could try adjusting the valves?

You'll have considerable problems doing that on a M40 - there is no manual adjustment.
