Sure this might sound like a very stupid question but is there any issue with taking an m42 from a LHD e30 donor 318is for a swap into a RHD e30?

Exhaust manifold is different between the two, to clear the steering shaft on the RH drive version.
How much it fouls, either with standard steering or E46 upgrade, I have no idea.
