I have just recently purchased a Breather Filter for my 318 but I dont know where it goes. It is the model with the 12mm neck. Does anyone know what it attaches to? Picture attached

Cheers

The M40 recirculates the crankcase fumes into the inlet from the rocker cover via a rubber hose. The fumes are carcinogenic so you don't really want to vent them to atmosphere and possibly back into the cabin.

Bit of a random thing to order when ya don't know where it goes fella. They're normally mounted on catch tanks so the oil vapour has some where to collect. All this will achieve is blowing oil vapour and therefore oil all over you engine.

As far as wanting to fit it so 'the air going into the engine isn't contaminated with oil', an M40 donk has so little power I wouldn't even entertain the idea of a 'performance increase'.
