M42 PARTS RECOMMENDATIONS..

In need of some parts for re-building my M42 wondering if anyone has used aftermarket parts, if so what/where would they recommend? Just talking stock stuff Maybe bearing shells, rings. Defo gaskets, seals, timing chain, sprockets, water pump..
Internal parts i.e.: oil pump parts, relief valve parts, timing chain components, guides/ tensioners etc will use OEM BMW.. ?

ECP have a timing chain for approx. £20 cheaper than BM.. Anyone used and still going strong?

ECP have a water pump for about £50 ???

I have seen listed on ebay and full gasket kit for approx. £60 inc. head gasket.. Anyone used with good/bad results?

Yes, Yes "you get what you pay for" but if I can save a few quid then I will but if the cheap stuff is crap then be more inclined to stick with BMW

Any Zoners have the answer???
