I've got a Powerflow stainless rear system that needs a tail pipe welding on. Just want it out the way. Had it on my track car but it sounded good on the car, nothing too loud.
Where you located?

You are not going to gain anything by modifying the exhaust designed by BMW. Are you sure the car has a cat?frankh86 wrote:Hi ive just got hold of a standard 1989 318is and been trying to find some info on performance exhausts is there any point to removing the cat as cant find a de cat pipe or any full systems. is standard as good as it gets?

I know it's in the UK, but Fritz Bits down here in the SW do an uprated full stainless system for the 318iS for £400. They claim upto +15HP, so i guess these systems exist. I've not tried it, just noticed they did one when ordering some parts the other day!
