i have been told that there is one of the 1.8 16 v engines that has forged internals as standard but i would like to know which one?? is it the e30 18 is?? the e36 1.8 is or 1.9??
could some one please advise?? i would like to know for a future project when i have finished my 020b25 tourer.

Cheers chu, so I need the is e30 lump, what sort of psi can you safely go with a turbo conversion on the standard internals!? Wat I want really is my tourer to be a weekend run around and then get a 2 door coupe with a 4 cylinder turbo lump as track day beast on a trailer that the tourer can cart around!!

GOT MYSELF AN IS M42 COUPE NOW, JUST GOT TOGET THE TOURER BACK UP AND RUNNING THEN THE M42 TURBO STARTS!!!! WATCH THIS SPACE..................
