I'm running an M42 in my track e21 and apart from a lightened M20 flywheel, the only other change from stock was a Fritz bits ECU chip. I have taken the chip out as it's rubbish and just dumps way too much fuel in, gives loads of flat spots and spoils an otherwise excellent engine. I have just fitted a stock ECU chip and it's just so much nicer to drive and actually quicker over a whole lap.
Anyway, a lucky find on eBay means I have just got myself a Dastek uni chip set-up and I have heard that I can combine this with an e36 328i MAF sensor. Does that sound right? Has anyone else done the same conversion? Would I be sensible to get the cams done now too?
How much extra power can I realistically hope to get from these mods?
Cheers.

Hey pal,
Did you ever manage to do this?
Just interested in the engineering behind it.
