I put my m44 in about 6 years ago, after my m42 died when the timing chain snapped. I used the car for about a year and it ran well. It has since spent the last 5 years in the garage collecting dust untill this week. It passed its mot without a single advisory which was great!
Now i plan on using it as my daily drive again i was thinking about getting it mapped. It put out 148 bhp on the rollers at Bexley but the fueling was all over the place. They said there was plenty of room for improvement. Thats with a K&N panel filter, larger throttle body and aftermarket exhaust.
Has anyone had theirs mapped and what increases did you get?
Who's running an M44 & had it mapped?

Mine was a chipped M42, the chip was already pretty good didn't really gain any extra power with a live remap, but a lot better power curves so better to drive. If you are still on the original chip then there is probably 5-10 brake as well as smoothing everything out.
