Performance chips for m42 e36

So there seems To be lots on the Market in terms of ecu chips for this engine. Iv just converted my 316i to a e36 m42 140bhp engine and I'd like to get the most from it.

Any suggestions other than the 250£+ evolve/superchips?

How are the Evolve chips £250?
They are about 50-80 last time I checked...
