Time for some pictures:
This is my DTA ECU which i bought a while ago, pretty basic but it should get me going... :)

As you can see I think my turbo is a tad on the big side! but oh well, if its just crazy and doesnt kick in till like 5k then i shall invest in a smaller one!

This is my manifold on a M44 head been it was easy to get to haha :). The manifold is an E36 one which im going to chop and make the colector a little longer to make it work, iv seen a thread of someone else doing it so should work :)

Check that wastegate for leaks in the lower chamber, if there is significant you´ll have terrible boost control.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Ti's a big blower that! Make sure the DTA can read the crank sensor signal correctly. A friend of mine had one fitted to his Lupo race car and had problems getting it running, turned out the one he had couldn't read the signal his crank signal produced so he had to get another ECU.

You still in Warwickshire mate?

I have gathered few more items since my last post but not much has happened.

Been the weather has been nice I though I would get the grinder out and make a start on the turbo manifold, modifying it for a 4 cylinder and getting rid of the nasty joins.... The best way to show this is with pictures! So enjoy....

Next is to work out how much I need to extend the flange height and see where the waste gate is going to sit....

Little random mock up:

Been looking at the wheels looks like its going to be tight, but we will worry about that when I have the 5 stud kit on haha.
