Hi All,

I am going to put an E36 M42 in one of my cars at some point. I have sourced all the E30 correct parts apart from the ECU / AFM.

When I purchased the engine I did however receive the ECU with it. it appears to be from a very early 1992 E36, so is correct for the engine, and wont have EWS I am assuming.

Will this ECU work plugged into the E30 Loom, with an 'original' set up E30 M42? or is it a no go and I will have issues with the ECU expecting a 02 sensor signal and knock sensors etc.

This also applies to the AFM I have from the same car? although I have read I can just use a M40B18 one though so not to worried about that.

Cheers in advance for your help.

Joe. :D
