I am currently building a 2002 with an m42 and an eaton m62 charger.
I picked up the engine from a 318is and the charger from a mercedes.
I'm currently building an inlet plenum to bolt to the split manifold! I was so glad to see that the manifold split in to two parts! I'll post photos of this when it's complete.
I'm looking for some advice on what people have used on boosted m42s. I'm aiming for high 200s-300 hopefully. So basically I'm curious to what injectors people use? What would a good clutch be to use?
I am also curious to diff gearing I was thinking 3.46 from a 325i? But I would appreciate advice on what others have used must be LSD
M42 supercharged build!

I've seen a few applications using the m45 bolted straight onto a plenum making 200hp roughly cheap way of doing it with a fair result but a twin screw charger kicks out serious heat so intake charge pressure sky high!
I'm aiming to make a bracket and run through an intercooler into my own plenum.
I was looking at the new aem management the ecu is designed for 4cyl only which brings the price to around £600
