Hi all

Does anyone have an M40 vacuum hose diagram I could use to replumb one please?

Reason I ask is since doing a headgasket on an M40 318i it idles ever so slightly lumpy. The only hose I can't find where it goes is what I believe is a fuel tank recirculation valve in the engine bay?

Thanks
broadie

Have you looked on real ome for the drawings.
I use soapy water in a trigger spray to find small air vacuum leaks as it will tempary seal the leak.

That's because you're in the UK and your car doesn't have all the emissions related rubbish.
You should, however, have a small rubber emerging from under the throttle body, with a plug in the end of it.
Only vacuum hose on an M40, apart from that one, is the one to the brake servo.
