My e30 has an m50 and Getrag 260 gearbox. The gear lever sits to far to the right hand side so that when in 1st it looks to me where 3rd should be.
Had a good search and found some people saying they twisted the aluminium carrier and some people saying twist the linkage rod. Also some posts saying cut and reposition the carrier.
Anyone know what the easiest/best solution is?
