Hi all, I test fitted the radiator (with an electric fan) from the donor. AC rad from the 328 car. The e30 is/was a 316 auto from 1991.

The lower radiator support bracket on the drivers side / off side works well. The lower support bracket on the passenger / near side is miles off.

Is there another mounting bracket which is suitable for this radiator?

Many thanks

I think the guide says you can use another driver's side mount on the passenger side, but I tried this and it was still a bit off. Iirc I modified it but can't remember how and won't be around the car for a few days at least

Yes there is two sizes. I used the 318i spec one. Iirc as the car was a 318i with the expansion bottle on the rad.

Is your too long I guess?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes my radiator is too long for the original m40 (1.6) engine radiator
