Im asking as i can get a cheap m52b25 and im told its just the crank thats different. So my question is if im building a m52b30 stroker can i start with with the 323 engine and change the crank and cams ect or should i start with a 2.8

You can - injectors, crank, rods and pistons are different between the M52B28 and M52B23.
