Are the M52TU blocks Nikasil, Alusil or iron liners?

Is it possible to use a M52TU block to rebuild an not-TU M52?

Some useful info in this post for you half way down

http://forum.roadfly.com/threads/128807 ... s-the-deal

according to them the m52tu is cast into the block iron liners

with regards to "Is it possible to use a M52TU block to rebuild an not-TU M52?" not sure what you mean ie are you going to use m50 head or m52tu head vanos not connected?

Hope I'm not asking stupid questions, I have a lot of respect for your posts and I have the time to search out answers for you and we all like to help fellow zoners, cheers.
