Removing A/C pulley

Hello,

So I've removed the A/C pump, associated brackets and also the pulley.

After removing the pulley and tightening up the 6 bolts back on the main crank pulley, the engine doesn't turn by hand (engine is out of car)

Am I missing something here? I have another m52 engine here which had no A/C pulley from factory and that has the same 6 bolts on the crank pulley and I can turn that engine over by hand.

The pulley bolts are specific for aircon or non-aircon - M8x12 for non-aircon and M8x18 for aircon I believe.
If you've removed the aircon pulley your bolts will be too long and touching the engine and jamming it up.
Either get the shorter bolts or refit the aircon pulley.
