M52B52 Tachometer

I am doing a M25B25 swap from a 97' E39 523i to my 84' 323i, the last thing i need to do is the tachometer.

I can't the tachometer signal wire from the engine plug. The E30wiki says it should be a black wire, but that is on a E36 engine plug, and i cant find a good diagram for E39 engine plugs.

Is there anyone who has done this conversion who could help with the last bit of wiring???

RPM signal comes out of the ECU plug at Pin 36, Black wire, trace it through the loom is the best bet
