M50 swap - gearbox / shifter

Hello,

I'm swapping a M50B25 with matching Getrag gearbox in my '84 E30 320i. But I do find very little information on the gearbox mounts. The gearbox just straight fits on the stock e30 gearbox mounts? no further modifications needed? and what's up with the gear linkage/gear shifter ? I need to use it from my E30? Can't I just use the E36 one ? or can someone give me some info on this one please? Thank you

You dont need to change anything, E30 mount and rubbers fits perfectly although its a good idea to fit new rubbers
E36 linkages fit fine
