Iam about to finally fit the m52 to the E30,what water hoses are needed from the e36 and what ones from the E30?
Also what is the best way to bleed it? I think I remember reading that the front of the car zshould be jacked up to bleed easier?
I was going to try to find a hose with a bleed valve like off older peugeots to use as the matrix top hose to bleed easier.

Tbh they bleed pretty easy if the recommended procedure is followed. Front of car up high, heater on full hot and full blow, ignition stage 2. Just pour the coolant into the rad end of the top hose steady, burping the bottom hose as and when to help it flow. Keep going until coolant comes out of the top hose flange on the rad. Reconnect the hose, tighten, fire it up and run for bit, few revs etc, if alls well take for a spin then switch off and loosen the bleed screw on the rad to release any residual air. Retighten and job should be a good 'un.

Use E36 hoses, except for the 2 heater matrix hoses. I think there are some factory BMW ones which will fit but I found the wire reinforced flexi stuff from ASH to work a treat.
