riddle me this, just done an m50 swap from an e34 and fired it up now:
the engine runs nice no missfire however it is chucking water out the manifolds and i mean chucking, so how is the water getting into the manifolds? its only got 4 bolts on each manifold does this change anything? and it looks like its seeping through some of the stud holes in the manifold but its not tight so understandable
my thoughts where if i over tightened an exhaust stud and pierced the water jacket but i highly doubt thats the case as i thought the threads would have stripped?
anyway im looking forward to see peoples solutions

WELL THAT WAS MY INITIAL THOUGHT BUT IF THAT WAS TRUE IT WOULD RUN LUMPY ALSO IT RAN PERFECT IN THE DONOR AS I DID 200 MILES IN IT SO HOW WOULD IT GO FROM BEING FINE TO THEN SHAGGED, BECAUSE IT WOULDNT BLOW OUT? BEING SWAPPED FROM ONE CAR TO THE OTHER? ALSO IT HADNT GOT UP TO TEMP SO THE THERMOSTAT WOULDNT HAVE OPENED?
