Need some advice please
OK I bought this m50 engine out of an e34 on eBay which included everything you need for the conversion. I've bolted the engine and gearbox in which fits fine. When I went to attach the propshaft the flex disk hits on the gear shaft. The only way I could stop them from touching was put spacers where the cross member is bolted to the car so the gearbox is lower. Didn't know If there was another way? Or I've done something wrong.
Any help would be great can upload photos tomorrow if it would be easier?
Thanks[/list]

How bad is it? When I fitted mine I had the same issue but was nothing more than a light brushing type of contact. Linkage arm is alloy and hollow. Belting it with a hammer a few times in the right place was enough to dint it slightly for clearance.

Does the 'flex disc' have a vibration damper around it?
