Does anyone know what length selector rod is used (and I guess shift carrier too) when using the ZF 5 speed box on an M52 swap? I am looking to get a DSSR and currently deciding on an M52 swap, so would want to be able to re-use. Hoping for stock 325i length

Cheers,
Gus

You have to use the gear selector rods from the same gearbox

Correct - it removes the slop in the Selector joint (that's pretty impossible to remove with the stock design). I have one sitting on my desk for my old M3 6speed, pity I don't have the car it goes on anymore!

What you say makes sense...thanks!
