Cheers, I wonder is there any particular brand or type that zoners prefer on here?Motorhole wrote:No probs bud
In all seriousness, most guys on here running aftermarket fans seem to opt for 16". I”˜m using a stock E36 electric fan and a modified cowling without any issues.

Is it a pusher fan, and is it mounted on the radiator or very close to it? If its not right up against the rad a lot of the air will simply be blowing around the radiator and not through it, this is made worse with an old radiator with a core full of dust/crud/corrosionHopchop wrote:What types or sizes of fans are people using on there M52 conversions? I have a 12 inch spal fan but sometimes in traffic for extended periods it gets very close to the red.
Ive just fitted a 12 inch puller fan to the back of my track car rad, its sealed around the edges and its on a new full alloy rad, not had chance to do any proper testing yet but it seems to be doing the job fine so far

Yes it's mounted right on the radiator, but it's not sealed, what did you use for sealing it?DanThe wrote:Is it a pusher fan, and is it mounted on the radiator or very close to it?
