Ran the car up till the top hose was warm today and noticed the temperature gauge hadn't moved. Checked the temperature sensors in the head (came out of an e30 so assumed they had been changed) and the left one was blue but the plastic on the right one was black. Am I right to assume this should be brown, and this is why I am having issues?
Cheers

Also make sure you don't have the oil pressure sender plugged into brown temp and vice versa
