currently doing the m52 conversion into my 325i and just after info on the best gearbox to use i was going to use all my origional running gear will the box fit ok or will there be some modifying to be done if so what needs doing

If you use your original box you have to modify the gearbox support and the linkage. Advantage is you get to keep your diff but disadvantage is you have to keep the rattly old Getrag. The zf is a better gearbox
