Did an oil change today and noticed that:
a) there was quite a lot of moisture in the rocker cover
b) there was quite a lot of moisture in the breather pipe
Did the oil change on a warm engine and the oil that came out (diesel spec, fully synth 5w30 I used to clean out the motor) was dark, but gunk/mayo free so I'm quite happy that the moisture is just condensation. But does that mean my breather setup isn't doing it's job properly?
Currently have the M52 intake boot with a y-piece in the plug for the ICV. The ICV goes into one part of the Y, a pipe running straight from the breather on the rocker cover goes into the other part of the Y. Does anyone see any probs with this?
