Recommended induction kits for M52 conversions ???

I had an ITG cone filter on mine, but now i've got an airbox with a bmw air filter - no difference in performance if i remember correctly.

No I'm running the m20. But if you can't shoe horn a standard box and filter under there then I would suggest a k&n cone but position it so it ingests as little hot air as possible. If your using it on the track then sacrificing the n/s spot light mod may help (see wiki)

Using a BMC carbon airbox. Not cheap but I picked mine up 2nd hand for next to nothing and cleaned/oiled the filter element. Don't know how it fares in the power stakes, but fits easy with the conversion and won't have the heat drawbacks associated with a normal cone filter.

OEM FTW unless you sheild the filter air tight so no hot air can get to it, hot air = lose power.

was thinking of getting one but at that price for one is like £240+ for the m52 one easy.

Google it, i tried one on my compact and the only gain i could see was noise.

Apparently on e36coupe.com there was a thread with a back to back RR session to compare, but iirc it was an E36 M3 that was used.

I run an airtight shielded induction set up with my B10, filter is a K&N rated at 500hp and shield is home made, only difference i saw was it feels a little more responsive at speed, oh and noise.

I doubt you will gain much hp.
