Hello.
I've got the e36 m50 engine and box to go in my e30 and I wondered if anyone could tell me the right prop and diff ratio to use?

Been told before to use an e30 320i manual prop? with the e36 box

Also looking for a nice LSD, the cars mainly for road use so something with a nice high top speed (so I can cruise on the motorway without to many revs) But then Not to slow that its sluggish off the line.. winkeye

I'm not actually sure whether the box is any good?
Its a Getrag and has written on it 2.1 225
part number 220.0.0 225.96

The whole car is basically slowly being restored (virtually everything) so If you have any recomendations to a better box and drivetrain solution please enlighten me before I buy anything else :) Cheers Guys

The box will be fine for an M50, if I were you id go for a 3.25 or 3.25 diff, they will help you get the best out of the engine 8)

Ah Thanks (:
going to go with a stage two 4.5kg lightened Flywheel and fast road clutch (: I've been offered a 3.23 small case LSD but the problem is I'm no expert on them! What's the difference between all the different size cases? Other than there size? What I mean to say is why is there different size casings in the first place? Cheers
