OIL LEAK FROM DIPSTICK?

have the m52b28 in my car and all of a sudden i got oil pissing out of the bottom of my dipstick , could someone tell me is all i have to do is change the o-ring???? , if someone could help asap would be much appreciated

good luck getting just 1 from bmw tho,
last time i tried to get one, they would only sell me a pack of 100 :mad:

Find a local bearing stockist (yellow pages), they usually have a box of assorted o-rings and will sell individual ones.

Any zoners know the size?

ahh just pulled out the dipstick and there was only half of o-ring in there so the other half must be inside! , so next project trying to get her high enough to do an oil change and filter lol and rebuild the water through propperly!

, sorrry about the message guys i shouldve just pulled the dipstick out and checked,

im not sure of the size but im going to get a box of assorted 0-rings as there always handy to have! , guys thanks alot for the replies! means alot i had a mini heart attack when see the oil pissing out! ,

anyone recommend what oil to replace it with? i was thinking 10w40 but people are saying 5w30? it dont burn oil or anything i think there 10w40 in there at the momment
