328 engine and gearbox - which e30 diff?

which e30 diff would be the best for this set up - looking mainly at track driving - 3.25??

someone i know that races E36's uses a 3.91 diff with the 6 speed just too give to an example so maybe the 3.63 diff best for the m52 box. had the 3.91 on mine and way to sort. Got a 3.25 on it now and good diff for track and road

If its for any sort of road driving you dont want to go much shorter than a 3.25:1
I have 3.38:1 on mine and its really annoying at anything above 50 on the road, so much so that im planning on trailering it from now on
