What's the score with this swap?
Base car is an 89 320i automatic. The engine donor is going to be a E34 525i automatic. The gearbox that I already have is a Getrag 220 from an E36 318is. Clutch, flywheel, starter not a problem. Have lots of spare parts at work.
So...wiring seems straight forward from the Wiki guide. My main problems are will the gearbox be straight or angled, what gearbox mount would i need to use? And finally any idea what propshaft could be used?
