Hopefully an easy one for you M50/M52 gurus - but the exhaust mounting bracketry that bolts to the E30 gearbox - can the same parts be fitted to the E36 ZF gearbox easily enough?

You would have to weld something to the pipes as they are a larger diameter, ive never bothered myself and not had any issues

I welded a little bracket to the downpipes and it bolts to the standard bracket that then bolts to the gearbox.
I'm running the two cylindrical e28 m5 engine mounts as I wasn't aware of the AKG ones at the time I ordered all my stuff.
I suppose I'm quite keen on a well mounted exhaust as i've seen the problems faced when running cars on track with really grippy tyres.
