wont turn over

hi all im hoping this is something simple but i finaly got to the point of starting my car and it wont...

m52 with m20 starter/flywheel on m42box, loom by dan,,
All its doing is clicking when you try to turn it over
i have three wires on the starter,small on top med on bottom and big one in the middle

on the battery i have the big earth strap and the two longer brown wires to neg and all the others to live, any help welcome thanks

iv conected the one on the battery side that goes from the body to the engine mount arm,, is there another?

No but worth checking its a good connection.
Maybe use a jumplead as a temp earth to make snre?

Normally caused by a flat battery.

thats what i was hoping but we tried to jump it and no joy, is there any thing else it might be? the starter is clicking but not turning, it says on here about it being stuck due to being to big but its been skimmed right down

Derriford hospital in Plymouth lol but home is Newton Abbot!
Did you check the engine earth is good at both ends?

Lightened M20 fly? or did you trim the sump?

thanks guys ,, just got back in from the garage and it was my fault, i could not find the positive battery clamp so used another new one i had, when finding the old one i remembered it still has the live feed to the starter on it,, what a plonker,, turns over fine now and woooo wooo finally heard it running, not for long as still have a few tweeks to do with the rad pipes,, cant wait for some more time now to finish off and hear her roar lol
