M52 ECU's?

Im just wondering if the m52 ecu's have a code printed on them to identify wether they have EWS or not or to identify them as m52 or m50?
I got an ECU with the engine and box I bought but don't know what it is so bought a complete ECU set with ews kit but the one I got with the engine etc has different numbers on it?
Any one know if there is a way I can check?

All M52 ECU's are EWS, the different numbers are related to differing software and hardware

I see mate, thanks dan.
Will have to decide wether to fit the ews and get you to remap one for me or sell the one with EWS and get you to delete EWS and remap other one.
