hiya
so my car has a m52b28 with a 318is gearbox.
Assuming standard 15" bbs alloys and tyres, I would like to know if anyone could work out what the speed would be at 3000 rpm for 3.15, 3.25, 3.46, and 3.64 ratio diffs. would it also be possible to work out the 0-60 / 0-100 times.
Id prefer my car to be nice and calm on the motorway but some traffic light action would not go amiss either (car is a convertible so i wont be boy racering around too much)
Thanks
help needed pls with diff choice

Dont use a 3.15 3.25 or even maybe a 3.46 with that gearbox, you need to be aiming between 3.64 and 3.91.
3.64 is around 75mph @3K

As above, 3.64 is what you want
