ccv dipstick tube.

ive got a 328 engine on my old dipstick there is the ccv but on my new e34 stick there is not a pipe to connect it to.
what options do i have hear?
what has evryone done to get around this?

Get rid of the separator and pipe up the crank case breather as per M50

Sorry what do you mean pipe up the crank case breather?

My understanding is that the pcv valve is to get the blow by gasses out of the crank case back in to the intake route.

With out a breather in the crankcase wear would all the gasses go?

Also if I was to hav a catch tank would it be set up that I have cam breather and crank breather to the tank then to atmosphere and block off the hole in the intake wear the gasses would return?

Its to separate the oil from the gas, and by doing this it destroys itself because the oil rots the rubber diaphragm and causes air leaks.

So the crank case can breath through the cam cover breather cos the chain area connects the two?

So I don't need to weld the breather pipe on the new dipstick just do away with the seporator?

Yes. Getting rid of the PCV valve is an upgrade in itself.

all i did was got my M50 dip stick to match the M52 spec. cut and weld. my M52 is like factory spec with M50 manifold

the first one is the charcoal canister that your fuel tank vapour pipe connects to but it's not really required on your conversion unless your particularly a 'greenie' (environmental saving person lol)

the second one is the e36 heater matrix valve and is also not required to fit this engine to your e30, it's part of the e36 heating control side.

thanks mate na don't need the hippie box haha, ill just blank off the nipple that it connects to is that in the manifold?

these two pictures are the ignition coil loom.
i think i am missing a piece of loom that connects these two if they do connect if not wear dos it connect to?
