I know I know. Search read the stickies etc. But...

I've '86 325i with S50 swap. Pin 15 was not available on the chassis side. So I've traced down the black/yellow wire underneath the R5 R7 relais. Cut it somewhere in the car and connected this to (black/green) on Pin 15 of the C101.

My starter issue (cranking in position 2) was solved when I did the above. However the windows etc. are still not working.

Did I do something wrong? Or is the release contact on the starter not working?

That is a common problem with this type of conversion,iv,e just forgot what to do. I think something has to be grounded in the fuse box, im sure someone on here will remember. It is on an old s50 swap thread beardymat i think detailed how he resolved this issue. ill look through my old notes to see if i can find it. :thumb:
